* ROSE GRANT SPECIAL AWARD

The Trustees have decided to make a special award up to £500 in memory of Rose Grant. She was a founding member of the Ruth Hayman Trust, our first President and a close friend and colleague of Ruth Hayman herself. The Rose Grant Special Award will be in addition to our usual award of up to £300 and will be made when the trustees consider that a suitable applicant meets the following criteria:

  • academic excellence or outstanding progress
  • a commitment to the community and/or to human rights
  • financial need
Those who wish to apply for it should send a supporting statement with their normal application, showing how they fulfil the criteria and enclosing relevant supporting references or other evidence.
